I guess the most important thing I figured out was that your attitude and how your approach your birth is of the utmost importance.

In other words, it is important to face each birth like a bull, with full force, no fear or hesitation, with the attitude that you can do this and you aren’t going to hold back. This is your opportunity to remember your power as a woman, inhibitions not allowed. Those contractions are power surges, and each one gets that baby closer to birth. Your baby feels your strength and also your fears.

The more you learn and understand about the real birth, the more you have the empowered experience!

Historically women birthed in communal huts with other women or attendants (which was a midwife, a doula, an elderly woman and/or a medicine woman). Did you know that the first hospital birth began in 1914.

Question to ask yourself on how you imagine your Birth experience?

What does it looks like? Who’s there? What is the vibe of the environment? What would it feel like to have someone just for you and your partner guiding you through the unknown? Someone who will be there for you to guide your initiation into motherhood and supporting you throughout the entire journey.
